Ottershaw Golf Society is a vibrant, friendly group of male and female club members who meet each month playing a variety of local courses throughout the year, all Social Club members are welcome to play. Each meeting includes either bacon roll or breakfast to start the day and a meal afterwards, sometimes at the golf club, sometimes back at the social club. Each meeting has trophies and prizes donated by our kind sponsors. There is also a league trophy for the best performance throughout the year. Please talk to any of the committee or golfers if you would like to play, all social club members welcome.

Nice turnout for our Golf Day at Hersham, with 24 players, playing for Presidents Trophy, kindly sponsored by Chris Wright, we had a fantastic hot and sunny day with just enough breeze to keep us cool,  and as you can imagine the course and fairways were very dry, but the greens were in excellent condition.And our nearest to the Pin Winners on the Day went to, Warren Eve, Mani, Dave Bennet, and longest drive went to Chris Field, very well done everybody.

And the winner of this year’s Presidents Trophy went to our President Chris Wright, with a fantastic 44 points, well done Chris, and second went to Chris Bennet with 42 points, and third went to Steve Murphy with 41 points, congratulations to all our winners.

Once again special thanks to Chris for sponsoring the day, and supplying us again with some great prizes.

 

Our next golf day is at Chobham Golf Club, Monday 15^th August, meeting at 9.00 am for coffee and bacon roll, first Tee 10.00, we are playing for The Adams Family Trophy, kindly sponsored by The Adams Family, the cost for the day is just £45, and £50 for guests.

 

If you have not already put your name on the list to play, please send me an email, and we will added you to the list, we are having a Buffet, and presentation back at the OS Club.

Also if you have to cancel after seven days before the game, you will be eligible to pay in full for the day, so please let me or Keith know if you cannot make it .
