Ottershaw Golf Society is a vibrant, friendly group of male and female club members who meet each month playing a variety of local courses throughout the year, all Social Club members are welcome to play. Each meeting includes either bacon roll or breakfast to start the day and a meal afterwards, sometimes at the golf club, sometimes back at the social club. Each meeting has trophies and prizes donated by our kind sponsors. There is also a league trophy for the best performance throughout the year. Please talk to any of the committee or golfers if you would like to play, all social club members welcome.
Laura Davies Golf Day
The results are in, and another great turn out for our Golf Day at West Byfleet, with 34 players, playing for The Dame Laura Trophy , our golf day started with a bit of a wet start, but the weather did improve and we ended up with a glorious sunny day, the course and greens where in very good condition for the time of year, which led to some very good scores, and we finished the day with another first class carvery at West Byfleet.
Our nearest to the Pin Winners on the Day went to, Phil Lawrence, Mick Streeter had 3 nearest the Pins, excellent Golfing Mick well done… and our nearest pin winner in 2 went to Clive, and Longest Drive went to Phil Lawrence, very well done to all.
And the winner of this year’s Dame Laura Davies Trophy went to Glen McLoud with 39 points, and second on countback went to Miles with 35 points, and third place went to Nick Adams with 35 points, and our Lady Winner went to Lisa Pendry with 33 points, and we also had a new member Lucy Breakspear (Penfold) who won a special Solheim Cup, Wooden Spoon Prize, well done to all our winners.

Our next Golf Day is at Hoebridge Friday 1st December, playing for The Browne Brothers Rose Bowl, kindly sponsored by the Browne Brothers, Coffee and Bacon roll is from 08.30, first Tee 09.24. cost for the day is £65, and £70 for guests, full carvery and presentations back at the club.
