Ottershaw Golf Society is a vibrant, friendly group of male and female club members who meet each month playing a variety of local courses throughout the year, all Social Club members are welcome to play. Each meeting includes either bacon roll or breakfast to start the day and a meal afterwards, sometimes at the golf club, sometimes back at the social club. Each meeting has trophies and prizes donated by our kind sponsors. There is also a league trophy for the best performance throughout the year. Please talk to any of the committee or golfers if you would like to play, all social club members welcome.</
Another great turn out for our Golf Day at Silvermere, with 35 players, playing for The Powercor Sheild, kindly sponsored by Rich and Chris from Powercor, we had perfect weather for our round of golf, with no rain and mild conditions, the course and greens were in excellent condition, which reflected in some good scores, and a big thank you to Ronnie and Maureen for the lovely meal back at the club.
And our nearest to the Pin Winners on the Day went to, Lisa Pendry, Nick Pelling, Dave Browne, and Jack Bennett, and our longest drive went to Nick Pelling, well done everyone.
And the winner of this year’s The Powercor Sheild went to Linda Rich with a whopping 40 points, second went to Dave Bennett with 38 points, and third went to Jack Bennett with 37 points, very well done to all our winners.

Our next golf day is at, on Friday 23rd August, at Reigate Hill Golf Club, meeting at 10.00 am for coffee and bacon roll, first Tee 11.00, we are playing for the JD Fencing Trophy, kindly sponsored by John Dove, the cost for the day is just £60 and £65 for guests, we are having our meal and presentations, back at the OS Club, list is now up at the club if you want to join us.
