31 December 2009 - New Year's Eve party 2009

Fabulous party this year with The McGinlays playing us into 2010, and Billie's superb buffet. Next year we have the band Timeshare, don't miss them.

Over 120 people signed up for the special Christmas quiz and buffet, 17 teams battled it out for the top prizes and enjoyed a magnificent buffet.

13 December 2009 - Children's Christmas Party.

The Brook Hall was booked for the children's party this year and we had an entertainer instead of the usual pantomime. Fred in the Shed was excellent and gave the children plenty of fun and magic. Father Christmas paid his usual seasonal visit with presents for all the children.

97 members went to Antwerp and we had a great time. Weather was mostly kind, lots to see, good food and drink. Hotel was the best Ibis yet and the staff really looked after us well.

95 of us went to Bruges and had a great time. Weather was kind, the hotel was right in the centre of the town and there were lots of great restaurants nearby, not to mention the brewery museum!

Two coaches took the 60 UP club on a trip to Portsmouth for a day out, stopping at the Manor Hotel for a full english breakfast. A good time had by all.

92 of the club members attended the Annual Dinner Dance held at the British airways Concorde Club in Heston. Food was excellent, band had everyone up dancing all evening. A good time was had by all.
